Dani Raba Joins Valencia on Free Transfer Ahead of 2025/26 Season
The former Leganés player is the first addition to Carlos Corberán’s team and arrives as a free agent after his contract ended.

Dani Raba is the first new face to join Valencia from July 1 for the upcoming season under the orders of Carlos Corberán. The club announced this Thursday the signing of the Cantabrian winger for the next two seasons after his contract ended following two years at Leganés.
Raba was one of the names with whom the sporting management led by Miguel Ángel Corona had been in contact for months and had a deal outlined with the approval of the coach and now ratified by the new sporting CEO, Ron Gourlay.
The 29-year-old footballer joined Villarreal’s youth academy at the age of 19 and made his debut in La Liga with the “groguets” under Javier Calleja. After a loan spell at Huesca, in 2021 under Unai Emery, he won the Europa League, scoring a penalty in the decisive shootout of the final against Manchester United. After that season, he moved to Granada as a free agent and then to Leganés.
This season he has played 29 league matches and four Copa del Rey games, scoring nine goals and providing five assists. “Raba is at a mature stage of his football career and will bring performance, experience, and quality under our coach Carlos Corberán, being able to help the team and influence the game from different attacking positions,” the club stated.
