In the interview given to the Spanish media outlet ‘El Partidazo de Cope’, Yamal was asked about the possibility of ever playing for Real Madrid in the future. In response, Yamal said, “It is impossible for me to ever play for Real Madrid in my career.”
Yamal came from Barcelona’s youth academy La Masia. Although he is only 17, he is not just Barcelona’s future but its present. His relationship with this club is more than the usual player-club relationship. Therefore, for Yamal, considering Real Madrid — Barcelona’s eternal rival — is truly impossible.
Buying and selling players between Real Madrid and Barcelona is somewhat ‘forbidden.’ Although there is no formal agreement, both parties have accepted this for many years. Besides, Yamal is surely aware of what might happen if he establishes himself as a star at Barcelona and then moves to Real Madrid.

Yamal’s Vision for the Future
